The town is stymied, but Tim, an avid comic reader, figures out that DDT might work against the threat, killing the leader, and proving to one and all that comic reading is beneficial. In the 2nd feature: In the 3rd feature: Dangerously overweight Barge is looking for an effortless way to lose weight, and, after much failure, gets a potion from a gypsy by threatening him with prosecution. The potion works, but too well, and now Barge is desperately looking to find Korumbu before he wastes away to nothing. In the 4th feature:

The Blip comes to Earth and begins draining electricity from a nearby town, the inhabitants of which misinterpret the event as an attack. They drive the energy creature away only to realize that its purpose was strictly benevolent and had judged humans, by their actions, to not be ready to receive the secrets of his advanced people. In the 2nd feature: When Konak fails in his attempts to unlock the secrets of invisibility, he steals it from the old witch who lives in the nearby Black Thunder Mountains. Despite her warnings, he turns himself invisible, with visions of world domination playing in his head, only to find that the outside world becomes invisible to him in that state and that he cannot reverse the process. In the 3rd feature: Two explorers, having found a strange medallion, are searching for the elephant's graveyard. On the brink of discovery, Derek shoots John, wanting the fortune in ivory for himself, but runs afoul of the aliens who are themselves plundering the site, and is taken captive as slave laborer.

In the 1st feature: The fantasy stories that Bentley has been writing on his new typewriter have been coming true, and, before realizing the truth, he leaves one, the shape shifter named X, unresolved as a two part story. When he tries to write an end to the story, he is attacked by the creature, and he kills it by smashing the special typewriter. In the second feature: Ruthless businessman, Gree, consolidates all his holdings-putting hundreds of employees out of work-into inventing a time machine, with the intention of his becoming a big fish in a future utopia. Despite the warnings that it would be a one way trip, he uses the completed machine, but ages every day of the forty years and comes out an old old man. Cover by Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers.

In the 1st feature: Johnson, an artist specializing in fantasy monsters, is approached by a man, who turns out to be an Aztec shaman, with three dimensional paints which create real versions of whatever is painted on a canvas. He is drawn to a hidden Aztec village in the Sierra Madres where he is forced to produce the first of a series of monsters which the shaman intends to use in a bid to rule the world, but instead of more slaves, Johnson creates a monster which kills Zzutak and destroys the village with him. In the 2nd feature: Joey saves up every penny to buy a toy wooden soldier, despite the teasing of his friends whose parents can afford to buy them modern toys. But, while in the woods exploring, the toy saves them from a bear and gets them rescued from an old mine shaft, and from then on all the kids want to play soldier. In the 3rd feature:

In the 1st feature: The alien, Oorgo, whose every thought becomes a reality, comes to conquer Earth, and nearly accomplishes it, having put the whole human race into a trance, but is killed by an escaped gorilla who wasn't affected by hypnosis. In the 2nd feature: Adam invents a serum to increase his lifespan to a thousand years, but it wrecks his life as he watches all of his friends grow old and die and the world go to hell in a hand basket. At the end of his increased span, the rest of the overpopulated human race emigrate to another planet, but Adam opts to stay behind, as does a single woman-you guessed it-Eve. In the 3rd feature:   In the future, there is a war between man and robots. In a last ditch attempt, the machines infiltrate their enemy with a disguised spy, only to be caught in a trap when their spy turns out to be a human double agent. In the 4th feature:

He ends up making her a teenager again, but, instead of wanting a middle aged man, the now young Kat runs off with Mordoo. In the 4th feature: A scientist has perfected a tie teleporter but doesn't know if it sends objects into the future or the past. Left alone in the lab, his jealous assistant uses the machine and ends up in a wasteland, and, even having given up his world, still doesn't know if it's the far flung future or the dawn of time.
