COM:    Origin of the Stranger.  Doom teams-up with the FF.  Reed has been taken over by the Over-Mind, and the team goes to find him, when Collins tries to sic the police on them.  By the time they locate Reed, Over-Mind's power has grown, affecting many of the people in the city.  Sue leaves Ben and Johnny to deal with Reed, and she flies to Avengers Mansion for help, but they are not at home.  In part two, Agatha recommends that she seek out Doom for aid.  Sue appeals to his honor, and, unable to refuse, he whips up a Psionic Refractor in Reed's lab; but the Over-Mind proves too powerful.  Just when things seem hopeless, the Stranger arrives and, as revenge for his people, intercedes and leaves the Over-Mind on a mote of dust.  Doom limps off, and Johnny flies off in a huff (and into SUB #44), and, at story end, the Watcher reassures the Ff of the part they had in bringing down the Over-Mind.  Giant size issue.  Stan Lee becomes editor of the title.
