Iguana The incredibly
powerful creature produced when Prof. Curt Connor, using his new Enervator,
transferred the power of the Lizard from his body into a test subject, an
aquatic iguana. The creature is similar to the original Lizard, basically
a humanoid iguana with a fan of skin behind its head and spines down its back,
but with one major difference, it doesn't have the mammalian origin to temper
its rampaging hatred of humans. The creature has the ability like the
Lizard to command lower forms of reptiles, and possesses only one apparent
weakness, it's eyes are terribly sensitive to light. The transformation
when the normal iguana grows and becomes the
Iguana comes at time periods when Connors would normally have turned into the Lizard,
and it was bested when Spider-Man used Connor's Enervator to pump all the Lizard's
power into him forcing him to revert back to his normal form, supposedly
permanently. The small
iguana however was not destroyed and fell into the city sewer.

Imperial H(ydra)
(Deceased) The original supreme leader of the international subversive
organization Hydra. His big plot was to launch their ultimate weapon, the
Betatron Bomb, into orbit and force the United States to surrender to them.
Unfortunately, he faced the combined forces of SHIELD and Stark Industries, and
despite his best efforts, he failed. His other big accomplishment was to
rename the divisions of Hydra after different animals to furnish a feeling of
identity and pride (so great was his affinity toward animals, he had a pet
panther who became the only one he could talk to as his mind teetered), and to train his daughter to be a top agent in the
organization. However, when everything began to hit the fan, and his
daughter turned against him and Hydra in favor of Nick Fury and his men, his cheese began to slip off his cracker,

Infinity Gauntlet
After being resurrected by Death for the mission of destroying half the
population of the Universe to keep it from overpopulating and killing itself,
Thanos sought out the six Soul Gems from the In-Betweener and five of the Elders
of the Universe and once secured, mounted them on one of his gauntlets and
attempted to be the supreme being. when he used his new found power to
eliminate the half of the universe, it spurred the cross title event of the same
name. The most powerful beings, heroes and villains, were gathered
together by Doctor Strange to confront Thanos and reverse the damage he had
wrought. The plan, spearheaded by Adam Warlock, nearly failed, but it was
not the Silver Surfer who snatched the Gauntlet from Thanos' hand but his grand
daughter, Nebula. She began to wield her power as insanely as her
predecessor, and the mad Titan teamed-up with the other heroes to stop her.
It concluded when the Gauntlet was seized by Warlock himself, who, instead of
utilizing the power for his own gains (and because the Living Tribunal ordered
it), split the Gems up once more and formed
the Infinity Watch to insure they would not again be misused.

exposed to Zero Fluid to escape the killers who had murdered his father, has
become essentially a nuclear furnace, constantly building energy. Nearly

card namesake. When even this began to fail, fearing for the safety of the
planet, he was taken under the wing of SHIELD and was forced to spend most of
his time in a special dampening room they had built for him at Hart Mansion.
Soon after, it was revealed that not only the girl he'd met in college but his
mother as well were both from the planet Contraxia (explaining that the left
side of his body turning black was from heritage not the Zero Fluid), and he
went there to help them recharge their dying sun (in JH LTD). In doing so,
he became almost god-like in his power, and he traveled for a time throughout
space to come to terms with it. He eventually returned to Earth and
in a battle with Presence, his armor was breeched (QUA #20) and was only kept
alive by the powers of Moondragon. When she left to join the Infinity
Watch, his body began to decay and he became a recluse in the family mansion.

Khoon the Explorer
(deceased) The greatest explorer of his alien people who had conquered land and space in
his own dimension until nothing remained unknown, so he breached the Dimensional
Corridor expecting to use it as a gateway to untold wonders only to find that
his spacecraft's construction wasn't up to the incredible dimensional forces at
work in the nexus. His ship tore itself apart and he was marooned in the
abyss inside his armored space suit. He constructed his Wolfpack from the
debris of his craft and with their help he searched endlessly (possibly for
millennia) for a means of escape. He located portals but was unable to use
them without the protection of a spacecraft, and so, when he detected Galactus'
Worldship, he had his servants attack with the idea of usurping the craft.
When he confronted the owner, Galactus learned that he had amassed complete
navigational charts of the corridor stored in his battlesuit, and immediately
had his ship incorporate the explorer as his new guidance system. It is
uncertain whether the alien survived this procedure.

(Richard Rider, form. Nova I) After he lost his Nova powers, Rider
returned to Earth with not much to look forward to without even a high school
diploma to show for what he'd accomplished in his short life. After some
time working dead end jobs, he was confronted by Night Thrasher, who had located
him through his old files with the now defunct SHIELD, and, after he dropped him
off a roof to kick start his powers again (super human strength, super human
speed, and near invulnerability), recruited him to his new team of teen-age
costumed heroes. Rider wasn't fond of his methodology or his seemingly
manic drive for justice, but he joined, being dubbed with the unappreciated
sobriquet of 'Kid' Nova, and changed his costume to red and yellow with a button
over red vest, yellow boots, but with the same yellow helmet with red starburst
insignia (he later changes to a costume more reminiscent of his original).
Rider doesn't get along with his parents anymore because they believe, because
of his lack of education, his series of dead end jobs, and their lack of
knowledge of his secret ID, that he is simply wasting his life. The only
one in his family that knows his secret ID is his younger brother. Later,

Kree A blue
skinned (with a common white skinned divergence), alien, humanoid race who created a vast Empire in the Greater Megellanic Cloud, often clashing with the Skrulls and the Shi'ar, responsible
for the creation of the Inhumans, the construction of the Blue Area on the moon, and the series of Sentry
robots set throughout the galaxy. Their first discovered base was on a
South Pacific island, found by Daniel Damian and accidentally destroyed by the
Fantastic Four. Because of this discovery, a scout ship was sent to Earth
to closer study what humankind had become, an investigation headed by Capt. Mar-Vell.
A highly militaristic society, they have twice gone to war with the Skrulls,
their fanatical opposites, and lost both times. Their leader, a collection
of the greatest Kree minds in a computerized construct called the Supreme
Intelligence, has tried to lead them from their stagnated state of evolution,
not always successfully. He was replaced by his Chief Controller, Nenora

their old Empress left the Empire in fragments, they knew that they were in a
very vulnerable spot. So, when the well guarded secret of their inability
to shape change was uncovered by their oldest enemies, the Kree, one of the
forerunners in the race, Emperor Kylor, decided to adopt a 'we'll get them
before they get us' attitude and mounted a full scale attack on the Kree Empire,
starting with the outposts of Sandomar II and IV, starting the war. It is
concluded when Empress S'Byll (as the new Super-Skrull), the Silver Surfer, and
Empress Shalla Bal attack the Supreme Leader in her own throne room on Hala, and
when S'Byll uses her power to restore Nenora's true shape and her shape changing
abilities, the shock kills her. After which, the next highest Kree
official, Tus-Katt accepts S'Byll's offer of truce.

who is able to manipulate some sort of dark force which he usurped from his own
son to not only teleport himself
and others over great distances, but is able to cast the energy from his hands
in the form of an offensive weapon, powerful enough to shred the average human.
In his first appearance, he began the process of recruiting members for his new
gang called the Folding Circle, starting with Midnight's Fire gathered from
Rikers Island. He claimed to be gathering "our kind" and that he was the
hand that would guide them to the truth about themselves. When in truth he
was gathering the children produced by the Pact for the Dragon Breadth Cult and
planned to use hem to access the power of the Well of All Things, enough to
conquer the world, or to revive his daughter and wife. But Tai, the leader of the Cult, who had been setting
all of this in motion for years, continuing the centuries of breeding and
planning by the Cult, so she herself could gain the power, was not
happy that he was trying to fulfill the prophesy several years premature to
usurp her harvest. Casseas got involved in the whole affair back in '66
when he and a unit of American soldiers were sent into the Cambodian jungle to
secure a landing sight when they stumbled across the Temple of the Dragon's
Breadth and was forced to marry one of the genetic chosen ones to produce the
gifted offspring, forming the Pact. He and his new wife move to the US and
learned to love one another and had a baby girl. Unfortunately, in a freak
elevator accident, his wife was killed and his daughter left in a permanent
coma. He spent the next several years studying the arcane art in hopes of
reviving his loved ones, but what he accomplished was to absorb the darkforce
power growing within his child's body and became the Left Hand. It was
then that he had the idea of turning the tables on the priestess, Tai, and using
the power himself. The plan led to his eventual demise when he and Tai
fell into the Well together and destroyed it. GA: Folding Circle, Half Fulls.

with his mother on Paraxis, and then he set off on his own (his powers still
latent) to make his way in the world, which involved becoming a cheating card
shark on Calculex. From here, he was brought back home by the Silver
Surfer to his mother, who had made two special Wristlets, produced by Hammal
Kesht modeled after his father's Nega-Bands and designed to trigger the latent
powers which had lain dormant in his inherited genetic structure. After
defeating Ronan, who had wanted the Wristlets form himself, he pledged to carry

dimensional beings that came to Earth when the King, fleeing his own planet, was
split into multiple beings, and was originally thought to be a single person
until the secret was later revealed. Each piece seems to have taken only
parts of the original personality and acts with singular purpose accordingly,
mainly in the form of exacting brutal vengeance for minor infractions. When
they are in their actual
costume (and not in disguise) they wear light green track suits with a darker green stripe, and purple
gloves and boots, their faces are pale white with blank eyes, and their weapon of choice is a long metal staff. Although wily and seemingly fearless,
in their individual pieces, they don't have
any more strength than the average human. Of the four that fell to
Earth, only one seemed to adapt very well to human customs (Turk) and the rest
have picked up their social graces from TV programs and advertisements.
Those that fell in Tunnel World, they were taken under the wing of the Unnamable

effectively, and their attack on the Defenders allowed Turk and the Lunatiks to
escape [DEF #71]. They are soon recaptured and brought to the sanctuary of

restore them to their original state of being. As Arisen, he proved almost
