The Woman's Woodfords Club

Welcome!

The Woman's Woodfords Club was formed on January 16, 1915. Bylaws, club rules, officers, governing board and committees were structured along the same lines as those established by the Woodfords Club. The bylaws provide that up to two women sponsored by a member of the Woodfords Club are entitled to membership.

The Woman's Woodfords Club is an active social organization, making use of the clubhouse on Wednesdays during the club season from October through April. Luncheons and program meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays of each of those months. Activities such as bridge and bowling are conducted on the second and fourth Wednesdays. The club presents a variety of programs for the entertainment of members and their guests. These include fashion shows, musicals, craft demonstrations and comedy skits. They also include cultural programs such as book and drama reviews, travelogues, flower arranging exhibits and slide presentations. Annual events include the reception for new members and a meeting honoring the club's past presidents.
